Scheduling Posts
Open Schedule Post to use the post composer. This screen is the real publishing workspace for posts, stories, reels, albums, optional Threads publishing, and advanced story settings.
Top-level layout
- Post type selector at the top: Post, Reels, Story, and Album
- Left column: media picker and file manager
- Center column: account selector, caption, schedule, and advanced publishing options
- Right column: live post preview

Post types
| Type | What it does |
|---|---|
| Post | Standard feed post for photo or video, depending on package permissions. |
| Reels | Reels composer for short-form video publishing. |
| Story | Story composer with sticker, text, and background controls when those options are enabled. |
| Album | Carousel or album post with multiple media items. |
Each type can be disabled by the package. In the real UI, disabled types still appear but show a tooltip explaining that the type is not included in the current subscription plan.
Media section
The left panel is a file manager plus upload hub.
- Pick files directly from your computer or mobile device
- Load media from URL
- Use Dropbox picker when the integration is enabled
- Use OneDrive picker when enabled and SSL is active
- Use Google Drive picker when the integration is configured
- Open additional file-manager actions such as delete mode, download mode, and file info
Selected media is shown again in the mini preview area inside Basic Settings, where you can drag media into place before saving the post.
Account and failure state
- The account dropdown loads your connected Instagram accounts and keeps avatar and username metadata in the selector.
- If you open a post with status Failed, the composer shows the previous failure reason before any edits.
- If no Instagram account is connected yet, the composer offers a direct Add Account action.
Caption and first comment
- The composer includes two tabs: Caption and First Comment.
- Both tabs can pull text from the saved caption template popup at Caption Templates and Caption Templates docs.
- Saved captions are converted from shortcodes to emoji before being loaded into the editor.
- The UI also shows an invisible-space tip for manual formatting when needed.
Scheduling controls
- The Schedule checkbox switches the post from immediate publish mode to scheduled mode.
- The date field uses your timezone, date format, and time format settings.
- The submit button switches automatically between Post now and Schedule the post.
Video thumbnail tools
- Video Thumbnail panel appears for supported video posts
- You can upload a custom image as the thumbnail
- Or select a frame from the video
- The UI shows whether a thumbnail is already selected and lets you preview or remove it
Advanced Settings
Below the main caption and schedule controls, the composer exposes a large Advanced Settings section. This is where most post-type-specific features live.
Location and story sticker base
- Location search stores both a visible label and a hidden location object for publishing Some story sticker controls appear only when the package enables them.
Story builder canvas
The story editor now exposes a more visual builder for Instagram stories. Alignment guides help you place stickers precisely, and the canvas supports resizing stickers directly on the preview so you can tune the final composition before scheduling.
The advanced settings panel still controls the underlying sticker options, but the new canvas flow makes the layout work feel much closer to editing the final story itself.

Other publishing options
- Only Close Friends for stories
- Hide Like and View Counts
- Disable Comments
- Download sticker layer as PNG for debugging
- Repeat post publishing every chosen minutes, hours, days, or weeks
- Cut story video into 60-second parts
- Remove media from Storage after posting
Submit flow
- The final submit button is disabled until the composer has enough valid data
- Immediate mode uses the Post now label
- Scheduled mode uses the Schedule the post label
- Success state uses Post added to queue
Preview area
The right panel shows a live preview with Instagram or Threads branding, account header, media preview, and story or post overlays so you can adjust content before publishing.
